The Aftermarket Engineering department at Epiroc has a high customer focus, always willing to help each other and our customers. We are an independent team but also believe that we are stronger together, all of us bring unique skills and good competencies. Your mission
As the aftermarket division continuously increase the innovation and profit ambition level, we need to further develop our engineering capabilities. We need to further strengthen our initiatives within product development and in specific within digitalization and interoperability and are now adding a System Engineer. In this role you will make sure that we fill the space between our internal software development team in Epiroc and our stakeholders at aftermarket. This will be both leading and coordination of these tasks. In the future we see an accelerating need of implementing software and hardware from external suppliers and companies in the Epiroc family and creating new aftermarket offerings. As our customers are becoming more digitalized, this area of connecting systems to each other and having colleagues highlighting the red tread to follow and driving work this work will be even more important in future.

Your profile
To succeed in this role, you have a natural interest for new areas and new technology. You are customer oriented and have the ability to interpret requirements into specifications. You can naturally spot the next steps that needs to be taken and continuously investigate if we are doing the correct things.

As a person you are well organized and have a track record of being self-propelled and driving your own work.
In this position we see that you have a university degree in engineering within electrical or mechatronics or similar experience from previous positions. Your previous work experience can be product owner or leading projects and maybe you also have experience or have worked with computer technology or programming embedded code. You have excellent verbal and written communication skills in both English and Swedish.

Location and travel
This position is located in Örebro, Sweden. Occasional travel will be required.
