We currently have the following job opening;
System Engineer - Software test engineer Brake system
You will be responsible for software and system testing of nodes that belong to the team "Brake Controls".
As a software tester, you will work close together with the Suppliers, Brake System Designers, Software-, Node and Function Owners. The ISO26262 System Safety work will be an integrated part of the work task.
Responsibilities and tasks
• Review SWRS (Software requirements specification) on node level and secure that the requirements are testable.
• Create test cases and verification methods connected to the software requirements.
• Perform software verification in bench environment & HIL (sometimes vehicle).
• Fault trace software from suppliers in bench environment & HIL (sometimes vehicle).
• Develop automated test cases.
• Lead software issues, trouble shoot problems and find root cause and solutions.
• Responsible for the verification plan of software requirements including system safety.
• Plan and maintain test objects and secure that they are up to date.
Profile and Background
• Minimum M.Sc. in Electrical or Mechatronics Engineering.
• Documented experience from working with Automotive Product Development or Testing.
• Good knowledge of the ISO26262 automotive safety standard.
• Fluent in English, both speaking and written.
• Swedish driver license, minimum Class B.
• Project leading and planning skills are vital.
• Ability to write test verification methods in a structured and readable way.
• Well-structured personality.
• Positive attitude and interested in finding solutions together with other people/teams.
• Willing to help others and ask for help when needed.
• Have an openness and awareness of Asian, European and foreign cultures.
• SW issues (the web based tool)
• JIRA and System Weaver knowledge is a merit.
• Experience of Elektra, CANoe, Labview, Carmaker is desired.
