We currently have the following job opening;
System engineer - Software Subsystem Owner - Brake System
Right now, we are working on a brand new electrical architecture, that will be delivered to several platforms, that will be bases for several different vehicles.
The future is here. We are developing vehicles for different levels of autonomous driving.
As a Subsystem Owner, you will be responsible for the brake system design. You will receive requirements from many customer functions in the vehicle.
The Subsystem Owner secures that the function requirements are realized through software requirements, that will be communicated to our software suppliers.
You will be in close contact with suppliers, software testers, function realization and software responsible.
We work as a team and we love technical discussions.
Responsibilities and tasks
- Responsible for the software requirements in the SWRS (Software Requirement Specification) Application.
Create software requirements based on the function owners input, the FRx.
Document requirements including changes in a system design tool.
- Deliver the requirements to suppliers.
- Support technical discussions with stakeholders at CEVT and with supplier.
Discuss with and explain the requirements to the supplier.
- Software issues.
Solve, help to solve, analyze issues and manage software issues related to the SW system design.
Profile and Background
- Minimum B.Sc. in Electrical or Mechatronics Engineering or documented experience from working with Automotive Product Development for minimum 5 years.
- Good knowledge of the ISO26262 automotive safety standard.
- Experience in System design and software development for embedded real-time systems.
- Knowledge in electrical platform in vehicles.
- Fluent in English, both speaking and written.
- Swedish driver license, minimum Class B.
- Project leading, planning skills and a well-structured personality are vital.
- Ability to write requirements in a structured and readable way.
- Positive attitude and interested in finding solutions together with other people/teams.
- Have an openness and awareness of Asian, European and foreign cultures.
