Delphi Automotive is a world leading supplier of Active Safety products including radar and vision sensors providing the possibilities for the vehicle to take active braking and steering decisions.
In our development office in Gothenburg we focus complex Systems and software development within Active Safety projects and products to all European OEMs. We are now looking for a Radar Systems Engineer who can play an important role in our development programs.

Dina arbetsuppgifter
Elicit customer requirements in order to develop and design radar functionality which fulfils customer needs and Delphi internal requirements. Plan and perform the Radar Systems Engineering activities in the radar team. Participate in functional safety analyses activities and adopt the design towards analyses results. In detail:
• Global product development of driver assistance systems in the field of Safety Electronics
• Support of product development tasks with broad technical knowledge
• Support of Lead Systems Engineer for all systems engineering activities for the Delphi Product Development Process
• Requirement analysis of customer specifications
• Generation of product definition documentation and internal documentations
• Test and calibration activities at system and vehicle level of the customer system
• Technical Customer Interface
• Technical interface to various internal departments and customer
• Systems engineering work with systems requirements, architecture and design
• Be technically sound in understanding and working with radar technology
• Lead and conduct internal meetings within radar technology area
• Interpret requirements and develop best practice within project

Education level and experience
• Masters of Science E/D/IT/Z or similar education level
• Must, fluent in English both verbal and written
• Preferably, fluent in Swedish both verbal and written
• Radar technology knowledge
• Systems engineering knowledge
• Experience in working with multiplex/distributed systems
• Documented knowledge of Automotive SPICE
• Automotive experience
• Good knowledge in the field of radar technology or in the field of driver assistance systems
• Good knowledge of at least one programming language
• Knowledge in the field of vehicle bus systems (FlexRay and CAN bus) as well as experience in dealing with the corresponding development tools
• Ideally, knowledge of AUTOSAR and unified diagnostic services
• Desirable experience in using MATLAB / Simulink or LabVIEW and DOORS
• Documented experience from working in multi-site projects
