Philips Digital Mammography Sweden AB (previous Sectra Mamea AB) is part of Philips Global Women's Healthcare and is developing, producing and selling Digital Mammography equipment to hospitals. The strategy is to provide integrated solutions for breast cancer care. The product portfolio consists of a unique digital mammography solution that enables excellent images and breast screening with less burden to women in terms of X-ray radiation dose.

We are now accelerating the R&D program and strengthening our product portfolio and market presence towards our goal in becoming the world's leading provider of Mammography solutions.

We are looking for a driven and quality conscious engineer who wants to work with software architecture, software development and system design of advanced medical technology equipment, and who wants to excel in making sure that we fulfill all internal and external requirements on a product of our kind.

You will work with the most advanced X-ray systems existing in today's market. Everything you do will benefit others, and often contribute in saving lives.
We expect you to be well educated, smart and professional, but also to have a sense of humor when appropriate; life is too short not to have fun.

Key Areas of responsibility:
You, together with the rest of the System Design Group, will be responsible for:
Development and maintenance of advanced medical imaging products
Requirements, design, implementation and verification of medical device software
Development and maintenance of advanced test systems and production tools
Advanced analysis and modeling of system or component behavior
Advanced development of signal- and image processing algorithms for implementation in medical device software and production tools
Expert assistance in problem solving towards production and service

Qualifications:
Master of Science with excellent grades
Responsible and initiative driven personality
Excellent knowledge in algorithm development, preferably in Matlab
Experience in software development, preferably Windows programming with Microsoft Visual Basic C++
Wide experience from complex technical systems and thorough understanding of mechanics and electronics
Excellent communication skills, fluent in English and Swedish, verbal and in written

We also consider it a merit if you have:
Experience in software verification including formal verification, unit testing and static code analysis
Experience from product development according to MDD
Good ability to find easy and effective solutions, and quickly comprehend advanced technical systems
Worked with Requirements Definition and Management tools
Experience in agile methods such as Scrum.
