What you will be a part of
Support and Services, a business area of Saab, supplies a wide range of services and integrated support solutions to customers in defence and on commercial markets for cost-efficient support of systems and platforms throughout their life cycle.

Public Safety is a unit within Saab, which develops business-critical management systems in the field of civil security in a global market. Our systems are used by police, ambulances, rescue services, airports and within the transport segment - here is an example for airports. We work closely with our customers and are driven by a strong customer and user focus.
We work in teams using scrum and agile methods. For us knowledge and knowledge exchange is very important, as well as our teams having the best opportunities to carry out good work and develop as individuals. Your role
You will work in one of our scrum teams and will have the possibility to work and develop within .NET, C #, WCF and SQL Server. Our main platforms are Windows, Web and Android.
We work with modern development environments to create high quality solutions and we have the support from building servers, continuous integration thinking, automated tests, etc.
Our teams work closely together, support and coach each other. As a team you will plan, prioritize, evaluate and develop your work and collaboration to achieve the best results. Our teams also have few and broad roles, allowing you to work with several different things and to develop in specific areas that interest you. We believe it is important with continuity in our teams, so we keep our teams together as much as possible over time.
Our work is largely characterized by freedom with responsibility and lack of prestige. We are dependent on you and your ideas to bring our products and our business forward. Our customers are found in an international arena, so there are good opportunities to work abroad for those who are interested in doing so.
Your skills and experience
We are looking for you who want to contribute to a safer society, where people can feel secure.
You are an experienced system developer, preferably with a background in back-end development, and you have enough experience to be able to see and choose between different approaches for solving both functional and non-functional challenges. You want to create efficient solutions that are easy and robust, and possible to maintain and build on. Experience of large, complex solutions with large datasets will make us even more curious!
We believe that you have a college education within Data / IT / System Development and good knowledge of .NET, C#, WCF and SQL Server. You have a passion for programming and enjoy working agile in teams. You are self-reliant, flexible and enjoy learning new things. You are helpful and share your knowledge to help others grow.
