Job description
We are looking for a system designer with experience from electrical development, to the group "Driver Information".
Our group is responsible for system design, hardware and software development of the driver information module.
We establish the requirements for the functions, systems and components within our technical area. Our responsibilities are for the systems and components in all car programs and over the entire life cycle.
The work includes many international contacts and is carried out in cooperation with international suppliers.
As a system designer you are responsible for developing a complete system solution for a specific car program, using a model based approach. You create a system specification and develop the solutions in cooperation with the electrical architecture team, the signal database team etc. Your role also entails the responsibility of making sure that the system is correctly verified internally, before they are delivered to the car programs.
The work is carried out in teams consistent of system designer, software designer, hardware designer and task leader. You work in close cooperation with the verification group and several other functions within VCC.
Who are you?
Qualifications
* M. Sc. or B. Sc. in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science
* Fluent in English both written and spoken
* Basic understanding of the Swedish language, both written and spoken
* Experience from HW/SW/embedded systems engineering
It is an advantage if you have
* Experience in Model based development
* Experience of Automotive industry
* Experience in Requirement management tools
* Experience in summarising and presenting work status
