Are you an experienced and knowledgeable engineer passionate about shaping the future of battery technology? We are seeking a System Design Engineer with a focus on battery durability and verification to play a pivotal role in ensuring the longevity and performance of battery components. Your expertise in relevant battery standards, coupled with a deep understanding of vibration profiles and their impact on installations, will be crucial to your success in this role. Proficiency in environmental and certification standards, along with the ability to present concepts using CAD, will be highly valued.

Role description

• Designing electrical and electronic systems, identifying system objectives, component interfaces, and behaviors
• Leading system development within a technical team and actively contributing to the delivery process
• Driving operational work and integration of diverse deliveries
• Ensuring quality and readiness before implementation and participating in specification implementation and verification loops
• Implementing system architecture strategies through to final product delivery
• Providing active support to product managers in defining capacity needs and translating them into functional requirements
• Leading concept investigations and exploring alternative solutions with the team

About you
• A minimum of 10 years of relevant experience in the field and profound understanding of component ownership, development processes, and documentation within the battery domain
• In-depth understanding of vibration profiles and their implications during installation.
• Familiarity with environmental and certification standards, including the associated verification procedures.
• Proficiency in communicating concepts using CAD software.
• Competence in component ownership, covering the entire development process, component maturity, releases, and documentation related to batteries using advanced company systems.
• A collaborative team player with the ability to grasp the bigger picture and ensure cross-functional alignment to support both short-term and long-term strategies.
• Extensive background in electromobility with a proactive approach to contribute across various domains.
• Previous experience in similar roles focusing on electrical distribution components is advantageous.

About the position
The assignment is a consultant position with employment at Adecco. The start will take place as soon as possible after agreement.
