Do you want to develop future automotive system solutions for autonomous drive, hybrids and electrical cars?
We at the department for Electrical Systems Architecture are looking for engineers that are passionate about software and electronics systems architecture and system level design and who enjoys working in cooperation with others. We believe that you have an interest in driving the overall architecture and system solutions as well as setting the details together with the development teams. You will be part of a skilled and experienced team of System Architects working in a cooperative, open minded and creative environment. As a System Architect you will have an important role in the exploration of new technologies, architecture definition and the continuous development of the electrical systems.
What you'll do
As a System Architect, you will be working together with product management and other stakeholders in the planning, definition and exploration of solutions for new functionality in cars.
You will be working in close cooperation with engineers from all parts of the development organization to ensure that the overall system solutions are well balanced and working as a complete SW and electronics system based on a common architecture.
You will create and evolve the SW and electronics architecture and identify the patterns and strategies and articulate the architecture vision, principles and mechanisms. Other tasks as System Architect will be:
* Select key technologies and partition the system.
* Define how the system fit together and interact.
* Analyse and evaluate fulfilment of business goals and stakeholder needs.
* Support and educate users of the SW and electronics architecture and systems and collect feedback.
* Create and maintain architecture models, descriptions and requirements to documents and communicate the architecture and system solutions.
Do you fit the profile?
You have a university degree in engineering, MSc in Physics, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science or equivalent. You have a minimum of 5 years of experience from developing embedded systems and you have good knowledge in software and electronics development. Not necessary, but we prefer if you have knowledge in model based development and experience from agile development.
We believe that you are an analytical person who is open minded with a positive attitude, who is structured, self-motivated and comfortable in taking responsibility.
To be successful as a System Architect you need to be very good at cooperating cross-functionally and to act in a multi-cultural and changing environment.

Location for the positions is Gothenburg, Sweden. Working proficiency in the English language, speech and writing, is a requirement.
