SW Supply is a unit located in both Linköping and Kista with around 100 employees that secures license and software code control for all Ericsson products worldwide.
Daily activities at SW Supply include License Activation Support, License Management, third party product (3PP) royalty reporting and Product Introduction.
To support these activities SW Supply own and drive the development of the systems ELIS, Arwa and SW Gateway which are developed by group IT. The systems are used globally both by Ericsson staff and our customers.
We now need to strengthen the IT team with one System Architect (similar to system engineer within R&D) in our department SW Supply IT Systems.
The main responsibilities for a System Architect are to:
• Be a part of defining and maintaining short- and long term improvements of the functionality in the IS/IT-systems supporting the SW Supply Processes.
• Drive demands, participate during design, development, test, implementation, and monitor during operations the function(s) within its responsibility.
• Secure stable and aligned functionality in the application.
• Secure that system changes are handled in a controlled way. The changes shall always support the operation of the end to end delivery process.
• To be a specialist within one or more functional areas within the system/application.
• Be the link between the users and the IT organization (including suppliers) for the technical part of demand and design specifications.
• Invest in networking and co-operation with other stakeholders (both within Supply and outside), and therefore some traveling is a natural part of the job.
Qualifications:
• Have experience in driving technical improvements and investigations
• Be highly technical, enthusiastic about creating something new, sharing your ideas and using your own and other's experiences in order to succeed
• Technical/logical thinking with good IT system knowledge
• Open-minded, see possibilities instead of problems
• Working with an comprehensive (overall) view but can also work with details
• Fluent in English, verbal and written
• University degree in system engineering, computer science or equivalent experience
