The Role

The company has a broad set of competencies from power electronics design to web services in the cloud. You will work with and between teams across all competencies and guide them in the system design and architecture.

About you
You're super-passionate about code and technology.

• You can theorize and think abstractly but understand the importance of getting things done.
• You balance moving fast and creating scalable and maintainable solutions.
Qualifications
• 5+ years of experience of system architecture and design
• 5+ years of experience in hardware related projects
• 10+ years of software development experience
• 10+ years experience in working with data structures, information models and storage.
• 7+ years of combined experience in cloud platforms: AWS, Google Cloud, Microsoft Azure
• Strong communication skills in English
• Bachelor degree or similar.
Bonus qualifications
• Experience with one or more of the following tools that we use: AWS, Kubernetes, Kafka, Scylla, mosquitto (or equivalent).
• Experience of power electronics and hardware design.
Work description
• Lead and contribute to our overall system design, including both hardware and software but with focus on our edge computer and cloud platform.
• Make design and implementation decisions, both short and long term.
• Own and govern our target architecture.
• Support and guide the product team in developing new functionality, time estimates, risk analysis, and requirements.
• Leading work around data and information security.
• Deciding on architectural choices and being responsible for the quality and functionality of our product and services.
• Providing mentoring and pushing the team forward in terms of upholding a high technical competence within the area of responsibility.
We have our main office in Stockholm, today in Spånga but will in short move to a new office in Sundbyberg. We also have a smaller office in Linköping. However, we do offer a hybrid workspace.
