hela Sverige Group Business Support (GBS) is a Group Function within Swedbank. GBS is responsible for the bank's products and product development, IT and internal services across the Swedbank Group. The purpose of GBS is to enable other business areas to focus on growing the business and drive effectiveness of the organization. GBS will be a true group function, serving all the geographies Swedbank operates in and include business units: Group Products, Group IT, Group Shared Services and a Transformation Office. GBS was established January 1, 2011.
Group Compliance is responsible for overseeing that there are appropriate arrangements in place across the Group to monitor, control and manage the risk that the Group may fail to meet the standards and behavior expected by clients and financial services regulators. Group Compliance is also responsible for reporting on compliance with applicable laws and regulations across the Group.
Publiceringsdatum2011-08-29Dina arbetsuppgifterAs a Compliance Officer within GBS you will guard compliance to laws and regulations, external and internal, regarding activities within GBS. The role includes guiding, supporting and following up on activities in order to comply with regulations.
This roles' main area of responsibility will be to write and support the implementation of internal regulation and governance documents within GBS. The goal will be, in good advance, to think proactively and be able to inform GBS of changes in regulations and making suggestions for solutions to comply with new or changed regulations.
Your main responsibilities will be;
• Write internal regulations and governance documents as well as to support and evaluate the implementation of that framework
• Guard the relevant regulations and laws, both external and internal, regarding all banking and insurance activities
• Suggest changes in order to compliance of new or changed laws and regulations
• Assist the business in writing internal regulations
• Work closely together with other internal specialists of Compliance within the Swedbank organization - to get an information flow, cooperate, and to suggest changes and ensure compliance of changes
• Guide, support and follow-up compliance issues throughout the Swedbank organization
• Take a part of the further establishing and development of the Compliance function within the Group Business Support
• Compiling regular reports
Vem är du?
We are looking for a person with:
• University degree
• Preferably with experience from a financial regulator
• Proven ability to work with complex regulations, such as BASEL II, SOLVENCY II, MIFID and/or SEPA
• Language skills: Professional English
• Proactive mentality
• Adherence to principles and values
• Proven ability to analyze, making information applicable to area
• Good interpersonal skills with ability to influence others
• Proven ability to present written material and reporting
We also believe that you have:
• Experience from Compliance or Legal work
• Project Management experience
The position is based in Stockholm, but you are able and will travel between Sweden and the Baltic countries.
