Are you experienced within project management and have a great passion for cars? There is now a unique opportunity for you to work in our agile team. Within the team we work with control systems for engines which involves ensuring of requirements for software and hardware. You will work in close contact with our developers, suppliers and you will get a comprehensive view of the technology and the different car projects. The position will also implicate a broad network and an opportunity for personal development in an international atmosphere.

What we do

Propulsion controls and calibration develop electronic HW, SW functionality including in-house development and calibration solutions providing optimal solutions with respect to the complete driveline. A SW responsible at Propulsion is involved from early design phases throughout the complete development process until start of production. Your main objectives are a combination of SW project management, quality assurance and technical design work.

We are looking for you!

We are now looking to strengthen our agile team with a SW responsible. The job is highly diversified with many different tasks where project management is key.

To describe to work in more detail the following tasks can be mentioned:
• Main window person towards supplier to define and plan SW projects.
• Responsible to quality assure the SW in order to meet internal standards.
• Develop process, methods and tools to further improve your field.
As a member of our agile team you will get a strong understanding and knowledge of the engine projects and electrical development within Volvo Cars. The extensive network will diversify your tasks and is a challenge as well as give you great room for professional development.

You and your skills
We see that you have master of Science within mechatronics, electronic or similar competence. You have experience in vehicle development and are used to work with agile methods and in agile teams. You are fluent in English, both written and spoken and have a driver's licence (type B).

Meritorious
In addition we would also appreciate project management experience and if you have practiced as Scrum Master or Product Owner that will be very meritorious. We also wish that you have some experience from SW engineering within automotive development.

To succeed and reach your full potential in this job, you need to be a leader with good communication skills. You are self-managed while being a good team player with a positive mind set.
