As Sustainability Coordinator Communication, you will have the opportunity to work in the area of Corporate Sustainability and be part of leading the direction for NCC's sustainability efforts.
Your tasks will include:
You will be part of a high performing team supporting our Senior Vice President of Corporate Sustainability regarding internal sustainability initiatives. In the role you are working as a strategy coordinator responsible for supporting, communicate and guiding the corporate sustainability process and coordinating sustainability related communication to internal and external stakeholders driving awareness and engagement of sustainability across NCC's Nordic organization.
We are looking for an experienced and independent person to help us grow our overall sustainability efforts and communicate our approach, internally and externally. The role is a temporary position from approximatly January 2018 until April 30th, in 2019.
Your background:
• Your knowledge, skills and experience include actions that demonstrate strong and passionate commitment to business integrated sustainability.
• Committed about sustainability issues and a strong desire to have a positive impact on the business, environment, co-workers, communities and customers.
• Have strong knowledge and experience in working with business integrated sustainability.
• Possess strong interpersonal and communication skills to integrate sustainability into daily business.
• Driven and self-motivated to manage multi-tasking role.
Education and work experience:
• A Bachelor's degree in environmental science, engineering or equivalent experience in sustainability field with demonstrated ability for the role.
• Minimum 4-5 years of experience within sustainability work in an international company or within public authorities
Skills and capabilities:
• Knowledge of sustainability communication being a good and pedagogical communicator.
• Strong written communication skills.
• Ability to work as a team player in a cooperative environment.
• Fluent in a Nordic language and in Excellent in English
• MS Office (MS Word, MS PowerPoint, MS Excel).
Location
We are open for your location, within one of NCC's office in Solna, Helsinki, Oslo or Copenhagen. The position will include some travelling, and regular presence in Solna will be required.
