hela Sverige We at ALTEN are now looking for Surface Designers with a possible scope within Interior/Exterior Class-A Surfacing to join an inhouse project towards a big automotive customer.
We believe that surface design is critical to creating visually appealing products that meet the functional and aesthetic needs of customers. The automotive industry is strongly influenced by the Scandinavian origin, with elegance, function and purity of lines as strong design elements. Here you get a chance the be involved in this influence to create elegancy and function. As a person we hope that you have a good sense of form and a can-do attitude is required. We expect you to be a self-going and top of the line modeler. To be successful in this position we think that you have an open and positive attitude and the ability to act independently and professionally. Even though you should be able to work independently you need to be able to works within close teams if necessary. We value your passion for working with automotive development and also have a genuine interest in design
We are looking for Surface Designers, both junior and senior, with skills in ICEM Surf and/or Alias for our Tophat team. The task will be to develop interior and exterior surface models in early phases of the design process. You will be in tight collaboration with the inhouse team consisting Studio Engineers and other Surface Designers.
We would like to see that you are a top of the line modeler with at least six years of experience from class-A modelling within the automotive business. You know the technical prerequisites of trucks and you should have good knowledge within Alias and ICEM Surf. Your skills in Catia should be at least basic. Your English must be good both verbal and in writing. Experience from both interior and exterior modelling is a merit. It is also a merit if you have a B.Sc. or M.Sc. within engineering.
