Do you want to work within an innovative international group? Sirius International is looking for an experienced Support Technician.
The position is within the infrastructure part of the IT-IS Department which is responsible for the IT operations for the whole company. The environment is Microsoft based (Windows, SQL Server and Exchange), with a VERITAS Storage Foundation cluster disaster recovery solution and heavy use of VMware technology. We are also working towards a Citrix thin client solution for the whole group.
The main duties are:
• to handle 2nd level error resolution that come in through the help desk
• to participate in the 1st line role when needed
• to help with different infrastructure maintenance tasks
For this position we ideally expect a suitable background to be:
• Excellent experience with Microsoft products
• Excellent knowledge with anti-virus, LAN and PC/Server hardware
• Long and proven track record of error resolution
• Excellent communication skills with users
The position will demand that the person will work tightly with other members of the IT department to ensure high performance and availability for our systems. The IT department is centrally located in Stockholm in Spårvagnshallarna.
