Job purpose:
Responsible for providing application & process support, providing services to expected quality and speed, and driving improvements within the support organization, including managing availability. Application Process Support currently covers multiple areas often with global systems. It is an environment that have people, processes and IT in focus. New developed web, internet and intranet technologies co-exist for example with AS/400, Lotus Notes and integrated vendor software.

We are now looking for more talents to join our ambitious Application Process Support Team in Gothenburg. The main focus will be in SKF's core applications for sales and related areas, widely used by the SKF business units all over the world. The role of a Support Specialist is primarily to engaged in day-to-day operational needs in order to secure quality support services. Key Responsibilities:
• Responsible for providing application and process support.
• Engage with user community i.e. answer process and / or application related questions.
• Support/participate/assist in training activities.
• To be able to support several process flows across integrated applications.
• Create valuable cooperation with selected vendors and stakeholders.
• Work on priorities and engage for team spirit with good communication that promote customer satisfaction.
• To run operations according to the SKF Code of Conduct, Environment Health & Safety (EHS) and Quality Policies, and work according to the SKF Quality Management System.

Job Requirements :
• Communication abilities that ensure effective ways of working for the team
• Desire to work in a team while making clear individual contributions
• Used to goal oriented performance
• 5 years of related work experience, customer and technical support
• Relevant skills for the field of IT including education
• Ability to work as application administrator and with vendor management
• Ability to collaborate with multinational teams, fluent business English is a pre-requisite

• Service minded, customer focused for end user support and application support
• Curious and passionate in making people, IT and processes working well together
• Remaining calm under situations of pressure
• Self-starter with integrity and at ease with taking decisions
• A responsible attitude, able to prioritise work and keep time management

Varaktighet, arbetstid
The position will be located in Gothenburg, Sweden. The position reports to Regional IT Manager in Group IT, Operate & Support Business Services EMEA.
