Responsible for driving supplier quality performance in mass production
• Member of group that creates and implement PG SU global quality processes
• Ownership of suppliers' Quality performances
• line support for Operations
• People Management: 1 IQC teamleader and 8 direct reporting SQE?s
• Coach and support SQE?s and IQC?s to empower them in their daily activities
• Drive quality improvements for existing supplier base,incoming quality control, change management, complaint handling and rework process for supplier base.
• Install quality walls to protect internal and external customers.
• Train suppliers.
• Drive, Design, Implement and improve structure within area of responsibility.
• Set Key Performance Indicators targets
• Support Supply Chain Management with supplier quality activities,
Required skills:
• A Bachelor?s Degree and seven years of experience in a manufacturing environment, OR: An Associate?s Degree and nine years of experience in a manufacturing environment, OR; A HS Diploma and eleven years of experience in a large manufacturing environment
• Experienced supplier quality professional with a documented background of developing people in teams to meet and exceed set targets.
• Influential, strong leadership and recognized experience in process development and change management. Champion desired changes.
• Skills in developing people and teams to become autonomous
• Solid International/Intercultural background. A ?Global mind-set?
• Can work under pressure
• Strong leadership and recognized experience in change management (e.g. transformation projects/programs)
• 7 years as manager with direct reports
• 7 years of experience in supplier quality, ideally within the Automotive industry
• Documented experience of developing and implementing processes.
• Be able to coach and educate others to become process oriented
• Proficient with Excel and other MS Office Tools; SAP/R3 Basic
• Six Sigma Master Black Belt
• Quality Industry Certifications
• Deployment of Quality Management Systems
• Experience overseeing weekly and monthly quality reports
• Experience designing, developing
