Dellner Couplers in Vika south of Falun are looking for a Supply Planner.

We are an expansive and international company that delivers sustainable, innovative and high quality products and services to train operators and builders worldwide. Our product line consists of couplers, gangways and crash management systems for the rail industry.

As a Supply Planner, you support the business by directing the supply chain of materials and items to us from suppliers and by handling distribution orders between sites. You plan the material flow based on the needs of the market and work with continuous improvements to achieve a stable flow. The supply planner works at the Logistics function and report to the Global Logistics Manager. The department works with operative purchasing, material planning, production planning, freight forwarding and warehousing.

Our suppliers and customers are both internal and external. The work involves close collaboration with all of Dellner's functions, including subcontractors.

Your role

The role as Supply Planner includes monitoring needs and placing orders on materials according to production needs and ensuring timely deliveries. The responsibility also includes analyzing inventory levels, ensuring that the ERP system is properly configured and set up with the right master data - and thus enabling intelligent planning.

We assume

• That you have a university degree equal to a master in economics/master of science, preferably with a focus on logistics or production planning. Alternatively, a relevant multi-year experience in production and planning.

• You are fluent in English and have a very good computer experience.

• You have easy to learn, are driven, service-oriented and flexible with a very good communication and collaboration ability.

• You have a great sense of responsibility and take ownership.

Success factors

• In this role, you must have a large work capacity and be able to plan you work by your self

• You think it's ease to make decisions and you prioritize quickly and adjust your level of ambition according to the needs of the business at the moment.

• You are motivated by improving working methods and automating manual processes and workflows.

• It is important that you have a good numerical and analytical ability including good knowledge in MS Excel for data processing.

• Knowledge of M3 or other ERP system is a merit.
