Your role
As a Supply Manager at Saab Aeronautics you are responsible for securing supply through the management of the supplier and related procurement activities. You are in charge of all operational purchasing activities and supplier contacts related to a purchase order, such as Purchasing Requests, Request For Quotations, delivery monitoring, returns, claims, invoices etc,. An important part of your role is to monitor and improve the performance of the supplier.
You are involved in procurement activities in both new and existing projects in close collaboration with the Sourcing Manager and technical and engineering teams of Aeronautics. You are also expected to initiate and drive the continuous development within your scope of responsibility.
As a Supply Manager you will build a large professional network not only with our supplier base but also within our own organization.
Your profile
Preferred education is BSc, Higher Vocational Education in Procurement or an equivalent documented education. You need to have solid knowledge of working in an Enterprise Resource Planning system, such as IFS or similar, as well as MS office in general and particularly Excel.
You have basic commercial experience and solid knowledge of supply chain. You are committed and engaged, and your work is structured team worker. You have great ability to build lasting, long-term relations with suppliers and our internal customers. It is important that you find it easy and enjoyable to collaborate, both with co-workers and with suppliers, and that you are persistent and persevering.
You are proficient in both written and spoken Swedish and English. Familiarity with additional languages or international experience are both considered as advantages.
