Development & Service Operations has the end-to-end responsibility for development, supplier management, production, installation of packaging lines and services. Within Development & Services Operations, Capital Equipment leads a sustainable supply chain, sourcing, producing and delivering competitive and industry leading new and second-hand carton packaging equipment and parts.
Within this organization we are looking for a new experienced professional open to grow, develop and contribute to our Supplier Management function.
The successful candidate will support the established long-term strategies and secure the achievement of KPIs related to quality, cost and delivery for a selected set of suppliers.
The positions will be based in Lund and requires up to 25% of traveling time.
Main responsibilities
• Contribute to the supplier selection of new products in line with the commodity strategy, risk management, global process requirements
• Secure and maintain a supplier base in line with business requirements
• Ensure deployment and successful implementation of commodity strategies within the area of responsibility
• Ensure supplier agreements cover current and future business needs in terms of quality, delivery, cost and service level for the assigned portfolio of systems and spare parts
• Participate to supplier audits and ensure that improvement activities are agreed and implemented according to plan
• Administrate the purchased products master data
• Coordinate activities with the main stakeholders, e.g. development platforms, R&D, Services
• Lead and participate to continuous improvement activities across key business processes
Qualifications
The position demands a good level of commercial, relational and negotiation skills. As a person you are results oriented, self-driven and have strong communication skills. You can get others to see and believe your points, and you are analytical, methodical and efficient.
The successful candidate has at least 2 years of experience in supplier management, logistics or supply chain management in a international global context. A previous experience in a Supplier Management function in the food packaging industry will be considered a plus. You hold a University degree within Economics or Engineering.
A very good command of English both written and verbal is a must. Swedish, Italian and German are considered a plus.
