About the role
As Supply Chain Manager you are responsible for management of all flow-related aspects (incoming, outgoing, and internal) in the plant as well as the supply Chain Planning function inside the plant & Distribution Center. You are also responsible for optimization of the processes within the logistic function through analysis and problem solving. As SCM you will part of the Management Team (entity's management committee) and oversee a team of 14 persons, were you together with the team will all contribute to reach the objectives of the plant and to reach the delivery service towards our customer aligned with the Schneider Production System (SPS). You will therefore perform the following activities:
Your main responsibilities
Be responsible for people management including goal setting, performance management, competency development, recognition, engagement, well-being.
Ensure implementation of Industrial policy and develop the necessary skills
Optimize inventories and coverage according to service level and capital employed
Manage the ranges ramp down/up and obsolescence
Develop the DC in line with =S= Industrial Strategy. Ensure strong communication between the DC and the different internal & external actors.
Is the owner of the Supply Chain & Logistics SPS Cards for the plant & Distribution Centre
Update Balance Score Card for performance done
Build and prepare the resources need versus the Industrial workload following the Master Production Plan process and the customer portfolio
Lead and improve suppliers' performance in term of service level, lead time and lot size.
Lead and improve plant flow performance by applying the SPS principles (Waiting queue, MPH, Pull flow, warehousing efficiency, ...)
Manage the ranges ramp down/up and obsolescence
Actor of Short Interval Management cycle 2 to contribute to production performance
Check & manage the supply chain continuous improvement for safety, service level, costs & inventory supply chain.


As a SCM you will also put a lot of focus to maintain good cooperation with suppliers, customers, and internal functions, and visit customers and suppliers in accordance with internal procedures and needs. Also, to lead and improve suppliers performance in term of service level, lead time and lot size. Another responsibility is to animate the Master Production Schedule by analyzing historical and forecasted needs, and by proposing necessary resources to put in place.

Required skills and experiences
University Degree in Logistic or equal
A couple of years' experiences in leading a Supply Chain team
Experience with Suppliers' performance Management
Experience in Material and Order processing Management
High analytic skills to construct/execute complex analyses
Continuous improvement approach and change management attitude
Proven written and verbal communication and presentation skills
Knowledge in Transport and Customs practices
Safety procedures /standards
Fluent in English
