Awake is a premium manufacturer of high-performance, electric crafts, located in Limhamn, Sweden. Our premier creation - Awake RA ¨VIK - is a highly efficient electric surfboard that propels the rider up to speeds of 30 knots/56 kph/35 mph in mere seconds.
The RA ¨VIK was launched on August 1, 2018, and has received acclaim for its design and performance. Awake is now working together with Oddwork to recruit a Supply Chain Manager with several years of experience in manufacturing. About the role of Supply Chain Manager:
In this role, you should be comfortable sourcing parts and sub-assemblies for production, including management of agreements and contracts with sub-suppliers. Production, including recruiting employees, tools, facility, and planning, will also be among your primary responsibilities. This will be the perfect opportunity for you to use your skills to build and guide streamlined production processes together with your colleagues.
You will have the leading role developing the Quality Management System for the team's overall Quality Assurance efforts throughout the supply chain, including incoming and outgoing quality control. Your experience within global shipping and logistics will be key in Awake's constant efforts to deliver above and beyond expectations. Product returns and repairs will be managed by you, where you will oversee timely completion of scheduled events.
In addition to this the Supply Chain Manager will together with the R&D manager be responsible for the "Production Transfer"; the important but difficult process of taking a product from working prototype made by R&D to a mass production-ready product that can be produced in the production facility with consistent, high quality.
What you can offer:
• Minimum 5 years of experience from planning and supervising manufacturing
• Master's degree in Engineering or Supply Chain Management
• Lean production experience
Nice to have:
• Experience from the Automotive industry
• Electromechanical manufacturing experience
