On behalf of our client, AstraZeneca, we are now looking for a Supply Chain Coordinator for a temporary assignment in Södertälje. As Supply Chain Coordinator you will be an active member of in particular the Supply to Customer process, with daily interactions with customers and other roles within Global External Sourcing (GES) such as Supply Chain Leads (SCL), QA, Asset Planners, Customer Relationship Managers, Packaging Coordinators and Supplier Relationship Managers. Global External Sourcing (GES) is accountable for sourcing and supply of externally manufactured products into the AstraZeneca network. GES are organised in a Process Centric Organisation (PCO) with two main processes; Supply to Customer and Establish New Supply to Customer, with a high focus on cross-functional team work. The assignment which is full-time will start as soon as possible and is planned to end in January 2016, with a possibility of prolongation. The â'Supply Chain Coordinator' role within GES incorporates the conventional activities associated with end-to-end supply to customer with a specific skill and behaviour set associated with working with suppliers, customers and stakeholders. The supplier relationships range from buy only to contract manufacturing for Raw Materials, APIs and Formulated and Packed products, located across a number of different countries and are supplied to customers across all regions. The SCC acts as the key contact for day-to-day supply to a wide range of customers and a part of the role is to build, maintain and develop customer relations. Included in the role is participation in the Demand and Supply process and to provide support to and follow the Regional Business Planning processes.

Principal accountabilities
• operationally Coordinate supply of products in alignment with our customer's demand and agreed stock levels, following the process for the agreed supply method (VMI/CMI), ensuring stock levels are in line with RBU
• process customer orders, raising purchase orders to suppliers in line with contractual requirements and receipting stock on delivery from suppliers.
• act as the primary point of contact with suppliers/customers regarding demand, supplier's ability to meet demand and day-to-day delivery plan.
• represent the customer/supplier/product in the relevant PCO control room to ensure issue escalation and resolution without impact to supply.
• build and develop effective relationships with colleagues in the Planning team, other members in the PCO control rooms and in projects where the role holder is a participant.
• build and develop effective relationships with the suppliers and customers in a given portfolio.
• work with the customers to create a clean demand picture in order to achieve robust supply plans and clean orders for execution.
• responsible for the accurate maintenance of systems master data within a given portfolio.
• responsible for accurately measuring and reporting key performance indicators.
• lead and participate in Practical Problem Solving and Continuous Improvements teams.
• have sufficient skills and knowledge of the artwork change management processes to deliver changes to product's packaging materials in cooperation with Packaging Coordinators and in line with market implementation dates.
• ensure to deliver consistency with the GES supply management framework i.e. one way of working across the organisation regardless of geographic location or portfolio.
• compliance:
• actively contribute in GES projects and workstreams.

Utbildning/erfarenhet

For this role we require that you have the following education and experience:
• a degree in Business, Logistics, Sciences or Engineering is preferred, equivalent experience will be taken into account.
• supply planning experience, including understanding of different supply methods
• supply chain (capacity and inventory) planning skills
