As a Supply Chain Analyst, you will be part of a team of 10 people working with strategic network design and capacity planning, new technology and innovation, as well as production excellence. The objective of the team is to ensure that PostNord 's logistics network is future proof and and cost-effective. Scenario modelling is a central part of this where you will analyse how parcels flow through PostNord 's production network, all the way from pick-up to delivery.

Job duties
As a Supply Chain Analyst, you will be responsible for PostNord 's network modelling where you build different scenarios to simulate and optimize the network and the flows. An important part of your role will be to run the annual process to update the network and capacity plan. This forms the basis for how to develop the network and where to invest. This will involve collecting and validating data from different parts of the business, defining and modelling scenarios and finally explaining the result to management and stakeholders across the organisation.

Your tasks will include:

- Responsible for the network model - validate and present
- Communicate the results of the modelling so that the result can be used as a basis for strategic decisions
- Development and implement new methods, tools and models for optimisation and simulation
- Support countries / the group with analysis of strategic issues which impact on the network

We are looking for you who have
We believe you have a degree in engineering or logistics, alternatively a background in mathematics, and have at least a few years of experience in modeling and simulation. You have good knowledge of Excel and have probably also worked with Visual basics and optimisation in some way during your career or studies. It is meritable if you have knowledge of network simulation, operational analysis in logistics or manufacturing, or experience of project management.
You speak and write English fluently. Knowledge of other Scandinavian languages is meritable.
