hela Sverige As a Supplier Quality Engineer your main mission will be to analyze and evaluate incoming feedback in a systematic way, take initiative and drive corrective actions on your own and together with Strategic Purchaser, Product owners, Engineers, Production and others. Furthermore, you lead and take part in audits and ensure each supplier and all processes are in compliance with ABB standards and applicable regulatory requirements. You follow up and secure the suppliers are qualified and evaluated according to plan.
The work will be performed in a fast paced environment where new challenges appear every day, still the work is performed with a long term focus on securing a well performing supply chain.
This position is located in Ludvika and you primarily work for the units in Ludvika and the position include travelling! But you travel wisely and cooperate / coordinate with your colleagues around the world. This requires you being a brave influencer, being able to communicate and work in virtual teams.
Knowledge and working experience in audit and assessment techniques, 8D, ISO, Lean (Value stream mapping). In addition, you are good at analyzing suppliers working methods and performance. Since you will be working in a global, multicultural environment, in addition to Swedish, we expect you to be fluent in English as well, written and spoken alike. Experience in project management tools and methodology are positive.

Moreover, your strong communicative and collaborative skills help you build trust for long term business relationships. Your experience in a multicultural environment and high degree of inter-cultural sensitivity help you coach and motivate by influence. As a foundation, we think you have a background in Quality, Engineering, Manufacturing and/or SCM.
You will be part of HV Components, a business unit within the Power Grids division. High Voltage Products, with bases in Ludvika and Landskrona, has worldwide market responsibility for the development and production of high voltage products for HVAC and HVDC systems. Our product portfolio includes surge arresters, instrument transformers, capacitors and cooling systems (Landskrona). All these products contribute to grid reliability where customer benefits and the environment are a key focus.
