Supplier Quality Engineer
Product Quality within Ascom Wireless Solutions are hiring a Supplier Quality Engineer for a 12 month temporary position during maternity leave in our team.
In your role as a Supplier Quality Engineer (SQE) you are responsible for the overall Supplier Quality for our EMS (External Manufacturing Sites) sites and Third Party suppliers.
The SQE works with the Product Quality team, Supply Chain and Suppliers to continuously improve performance of key components (product and supply reliability, service levels etc.) by implementing process controls and develop quality assurance plans.
The SQE tracks data, identifies improvement projects, and manages cross functional implementation to improve performance of key components and suppliers.
As a SQE you have typical responsibility to:
• Using the Statistical Process Control (SPC), Quality tools and metrics, proactively identify and help implement improvement to the Supplier Quality and Processes.
• Train Suppliers to effectively execute Supplier Corrective Action Requests (SCAR) and Corrective Actions Preventive Actions (CAPA)
• Initiate and follow-up SCAR in partnership with Production Program Management to ensure complete and effective root cause analysis and corrective action implementation.
• Perform periodic audits of Supplier Quality Systems for the purpose of assuring continued Supplier conformance to the quality system requirements.
• Responsible for driving the CAPA process for all Suppliers.
• Manage the Supplier Quality metrics such as:.DOA and warranty tracking
• Supplier Corrective Action Requests
• Corrective Action and Preventive Action
In your role you are part of the External Team which works cross functional towards all our four EMS sites.
kvalifikationer:
Knowledge of quality system regulations and standards, particularly ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 13485
• Experience of Quality System and Supplier Audits
• Experience of working effectively in teams and drive continuous improvements
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written in English
• Experience in Supplier Quality capacity highly desirable
• Prior Supplier Quality experience in manufacturing an analytic approach to problem solving
• Good knowledge of quality related tools including, but not limited to, SPC, AQP, DOE, Six Sigma and Quality Systems
• Self-starter with the ability to quickly learn about new processes with very little information provided
