GLOBAL PURCHASING is looking for a SUPPLIER QUALITY ENGINEER (SQE)
Located in Gothenburg
VolvPenta Purchasing has the responsibility tmanage sourcing of parts for production and testing for the VolvPenta business. Setting clear and challenging goals and following-up the execution of the strategies and activities tachieve the goals are vital parts of our success.
SQE is responsible for all aspects of supplier performance regarding quality, delivery, and launch readiness. The SQE is expected work in a team environment both internally and externally with suppliers tdevelop and implement best practices that emphasize defect prevention, reduction in variation and waste and provide for continuous improvements in meeting all customer requirements.

Expected Qualifications
Good knowledge of quality and environmental standards such as IS9001/IATF16949/ISO14001
Demonstrated experience of quality work and methods
Good technical knowledge, ability tunderstand drawings and Technical Requirements
Experience in specific manufacturing processes used for engine components for example: casting, machining, surface treatment are desirable
University degree in engineering or equivalent
Fluency-oral and written-in English is expected

Team player, but with capacity twork independently
Excellent communication and presentation skills
Good networking capability
Process oriented
Pro-active, positive attitude and good ability in priority management
Personal integrity
