Sourcing at Husqvarna is organized in several functions securing quality, delivery, cost efficiency and sustainability of supply to Husqvarna on a global level. One of the key functions within Sourcing is Electric Supplier Quality Assurance (Electric SQA), which leads all electric supplier and bought electric component quality assurance and supplier development activities within Husqvarna.

Job Description:

We now seek a highly qualified person experienced in manufacturing and quality specifically for Electronics and Mechatronics manufacturing processes. This person will support the SQA Commodity structure. Person in question shall be passionate about manufacturing engineering and quality, should be driven to become an expert within the Electric Powertrain & Electrical commodities. The team, who consists today of eight persons, is globally oriented and is led by the SQA Commodity Director located in Shanghai. Position includes travelling to supplier locations both in Europe and other continents.

• Responsible for establishing, maintaining and improving the supplier quality assurance and development system in the commodity
• Perform audits on new and existing suppliers with the purpose of evaluating the expected quality or sustainability performance of the supplier, and provide relevant information into supplier selection decision forums and commodity management
• Guide the suppliers in the APQP and PPAP process and approve the result of the suppliers APQP and PPAP work. Be involved in internal and external drawing reviews to synchronize the demands in order to reduce risk and avoid miss understanding, be involved supplier selection, tooling approved process, TOK and EP samples process.
• Support in the suppliers' corrective action process and approve the result for Husqvarna related issues that has gone through the process, drive supplier achieve Husqvarna PPM target.
• Develop strategic suppliers.
• Manage internal customer relationships and coordinate with Commodity Management the selection, assessment and approval of supplier and parts.
• Work with suppliers and related company department to achieve all individual KPIs and assist related department reports and department workings.

Preferred qualifications:

Education:

• Minimum requirement: Bachelor's degree in Electrical engineering or other relevant discipline.

Experience:

• Minimum 5 years of experience working with supplier quality related topics and manufacturing engineering experience in relevant area.
• Possession of recognized qualification in quality engineering, audit processes and relevant certifications is of a clear advantage
• With professional knowledge or background on mechatronic or electric related field. Understand and familiar with manufacturing process on PCBA, Li-Io Batteries, LCD's, LED's, cable and Quality control.
• Knowledge of mechatronic or electronic drawings, specifications and standards.
• Quality assurance, supplier development, and general manufacturing engineering experience is of a clear advantage

Languages:
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English are required.
• Candidate must be able to interact with all disciplines within the organization in English.
• Candidate must be able to lead cross-functional teams internally and externally through written and verbal communication in English.

Skills and Capabilities (soft skill):

• Thorough working knowledge of quality systems methods and quality engineering practices (APQP, FMEA, MSA, SPC, PPAP, Root Cause Analysis, Lean manufacturing concepts, etc.)
• Demonstrated experience in performing assessments of new and existing suppliers.
• Strong planning, organization, analytical, and problem solving skills
• Self-motivated, result driven / goal oriented with customer focus and sense of urgency.
• Understanding the importance of customer service and internal stakeholder management.
• Knowledge and experience with software applications (e.g., Microsoft Office) including presentation and database application.
