SQ-Quality is within Scania Purchasing responsible for quality assurance of new and modified parts, as well as securing capable production processes during the life time of a part
We are now searching for candidates to reinforce the SQA team responsible for plastic parts.
Your Tasks
As an SQA within Scania Purchasing you ensure that our suppliers comply with the high quality expectations according to ISO/TS-16949. You work closely together with our R&D in order to make sure quality is built into the original design of our products.
You create understanding of the product requirements by involving yourself in the development work, and you ensure that the requirements are correct understood by our suppliers and that their processes are capable to produce accordingly.
The plastic assortment requires a broad experience and your area of competence is mainly within manufacturing processes for plastic parts such as injection, rotation and/or blow moulding as well as vacuum forming and SMC.
Your Profile
We look for a candidate who enjoys the varying tasks of an SQA role, has strong commitment, works well both alone and in teams and can handle a high pace.
The position requires genuine technical knowledge and several years of professional experience within manufacturing processes for plastic products. Experience within plastic materials as well as tool design & making is meritorious.
Since travelling to suppliers is a frequent component our candidate cannot mind travelling, shall master English language both written and spoken, enjoy meeting new people and being able to handle multiple simultaneous projects.
