Summer employment for Logistics Students
Volvo Cars Customer Services is looking for you who are interested in one of the following positions: Purchase Planning, Export Coordination, Inventory Management or Supplier Quality Assurance. In all of the positions you will be substituting ordinary staff on their summer holiday leave.
Customer Service is a unit within Volvo Car Corporation, responsible for the global aftermarket business, development and distribution of genuine parts, service- and repair methods and accessories. Our ambition is to be the most desired provider of parts and service to our Volvo dealers and customers and thereby contribute to creating the most exciting car ownership experience for the customer. To live up to this, our aim is to be a global customer service organisation where we work together with the sales companies and the importers as a team. Our head office and central distribution centre are located in Gothenburg with 1200 employees.
Job profile:
• Purchase Planning - Responsibility for securing availability of spare parts and accessories.
• Export Coordination - Responsibility for the export of spare parts and accessories to Volvo companies, importers and retail distributors globally.
• Inventory Management - Responsibility for stock holding of spare parts in Volvo Cars parts inventory globally.
• Supplier Quality Assurance - Responsibility for and ensuring proper quality according to specification for Volvo Cars spare parts assortment.
Your profile:
• Ongoing or completed higher education with focus on Logistics or Technical subjects
• Ability to work independently and to take own initiative
• Good cooperation and communication skills
• Flexibility
• Ability to be service minded and structured
• Accustomed user of MS Office
• Good knowledge of English (written and spoken) other languages are meritorious
