The Tanto International School is an English speaking international primary school established in 1983. The school follows the English National Curriculum. The Nursery section of the school is called "The English Nursery". At the nursery we teach the Swedish curriculum for pre-schools. Our departments offer an organised, stimulating and fun working environment. We have enthusiastic and well-behaved students. Our teachers are highly professional and are able to deliver the curriculum in an interesting and disciplined environment. We also run an after school care (TASC) for a maximum of 22 children. At TASC we aim to give the children a chance to relax after school whilst also giving them inspiration, new experiences and challenges and support with homework.
As an organization we are looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic native English speaker with experience of, and passion for, working with children of different ages. An independent, responsible and sociable person who finds it easy to get on with others. Flexibility will be very important as you will cover different groups or duties as well as getting assigned other tasks on a daily basis. We are looking for a person who can substitute mainly in our Nursery section but also in TASC or in our primary classes if need be.
Particular skills in Art and Crafts and Music would be advantageous.
We expect all our staff to be proficient in the use of ICT and as an organization we only use Apple Macintosh computers and software.
