Mission/purpose of the job
The Center of Expertise (CoE) team aims to be the leading human resources experts in Sweden. By knowing our business, being in the forefront of our fields and through a close dialogue, we strengthen and empower Volvo Group to be an admired, attractive and safe employer.

CoE works cross all Volvo Group organizations and brands in Sweden, such as Volvo Trucks, Volvo Penta and Volvo Construction Equipment, covering more than 24.000 employees in Sweden. The CoE team consists of 15 talented and committed experts in four different areas: Health & Safety, Labor Relations, Compensation & Benefits and Talent & Leadership. In this role you will report directly to the Head of CoE, People & Culture Sweden.

As a compensation and benefits expert, you will work within the current compensation and benefits team in close cooperation with the other functions within CoE. In this position you will develop reward and recognition models, policies, tools and guidelines. You will also manage and review benefits and salary structures. You will be involved in many topics and projects, such as activities linked to our employee value proposition, salary review, pension, benefits, compensation training, position evaluation, international mobility, tax etc. The position also includes to follow research and trends within the field in order to develop the compensation and benefit area to fit our business needs. As an expert you will coach, advise and challenge HR Business Partner's in the area of compensation and benefits.

Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities
Drive and be responsible for different Compensation & Benefits projects, in order to improve C&B culture, awareness, processes, way of working, etc
Initiate, roll out and support annual activities such as salary review and equal pay analysis
Together with your compensation and benefits colleagues in CoE drive compensation and benefits union negotiations on Sweden level
Provide advice and support the organizations in compensation & benefits expertise and compliance assurance, such as interpret national laws and collective agreements
Support the human resources administration organization by being escalating tier
Understand the business needs and translate that into compensation and benefits initiatives on national level

Preferred Educational and/or Training Qualifications and Certificates
A Master's degree in Human Resources or equivalent
Documented senior experience from HR and/or Compensation and Benefits experience
Formal training/experience in leadership, communication and/or project management is valuable

Preferred Experience and Knowledge
Result oriented with business and customer focus
Professional understanding of country laws, regulations and collective agreements
Good communication and pedagogical skills
Confidence in own ability and readiness to question and challenge different issues
Excellent Excel and/or PowerBI skills is an advantage
Previous experience from production and/or industry is an advantage
Preferable the position is located in Gothenburg, but any Volvo Group site in Sweden is possible. Some travels will be part of the position

Necessary Language Skills
Proficiency in both the Swedish and English language is required
