Position description:
Section Interior Trim is looking for a SPL (System Program Leader) Running Change and Model Year Programs. In this role you will report to the Manger Program Execution and belong to the Program Execution team which organize all SPLs at Interior Trim.
For this SPL position you will also be responsible for section order book and manage all requests in the programs on behalf of the section management team.
The purpose is to operate and manage a product development project against the set objectives, on mandate from the Section manager. To track program status, identify deviations e.g. pre-requisites or interface issues for Section and drive corrective actions if outside TTCQ (Time Technology Cost Quality) commitments.
The objective is also to secure planned program integration activities, drive analyses & related corrective actions if needed. As well as to compile, aggregate and report program status to give recommendations at milestones/gateways.
The main tasks are to fulfill the commitment according to TTCQ contract between TPL/TDP (Technical Program Leader/ Technical Director Program) and Section Manager.
To reports the status of the assignment on PCM-S (Program Control Meeting Section) management via PSR (Program Status Report). To prepare decision points for DRM-S (Design Review Meeting Section) for decision and to operates and manage Technical Program Meeting Section (TPM-S) with engineers
Responsibilities
• Cross-functional management and profit responsibility for the assignment mandate of the Section manager.
• Decide together with the Section manager and then report in PSR on PCM-S.
• Take steps to eliminate discrepancies and report them immediately.
• Comply with decisions of working according, and the applicable procedures in BMS (Business Management System)
• Functional teams responsible for defined areas.
• Review the Owner’s Manual according to the Customer Service review process.
Skills and required experience:
Competence /Requirements
• Very good practical and theoretical knowledge of the product development process (meritorious)
• Good practical and theoretical knowledge within the field, worked in projects and having experience of a production start.
• Experience in personnel and task management.
• Good leadership skills
• Good knowledge of working methods and systems; release of design technical documents, task and deviation management, planning, project monitoring, financial control
• Complete vehicle knowledge.
• Very good knowledge of the complete system at a Section level
• Specific knowledge of the KDP, Team Center, CPI, VQDC and the PSR.
