We are now looking for a Structural Calculation Engineer for Body area!
Description
As a Structural Calculation Engineer you will have a responsibility that reaches over all projects in the department. You will lead and perform a calculation work through the complete product development. You will be responsible for the development and maintenance of calculation methodologies and procedures that concern Body area. Identify opportunities and implement changes to improve products or processes and reduce the cost is also a part of the role.
The role as Structural Calculation Engineer involves:
• Work as a specialist in structure calculations in Body area
• Analyzing and evaluating requirements
• Actively participate and influence the design of the product in cooperation with designers
• The job involves contact with both internal and external missions so it's important that you feel comfortable in this role.
We are looking for someone who has:
• Minimum education of a Bachelor of Science in Engineering or equivalent.
• Engineering experience from Structure Calculation in automotive, minimum 4 years
• Experience of solvers, pre- and post-processor such as LS-DYNA, Nastran or Hyper Works
• Knowledge in NX, or other CAD tools and TeamCenter
• Ability to communicate clearly in English, both spoken and written.
To be successful in this role, you need to:
• Have a thorough knowledge and understanding of development and production of cars
• Have the ability to plan and prioritize
• Be creative, solution-oriented and open minded
• Have good communication skills
