Your role
Our role is to perform structural analysis on all products and all system levels.
The main tasks are:

Create, assess, and refine environmental requirements
*
Suggest and specify mechanical environment test methods
*
Support design authority on all levels in the design process
*
Present results both as reports and presentations.
*
Use Finite element analysis solver and meshing software tools
Your profile
We are looking for you with strong drive and perseverance who likes to develop and challenge yourself as well as others. To be successful in this position, you need to be a team player and have the ability both to dig deep into the details as well as to present the result in a convincing maner. We also assume that you have:

Masters degree in Mechanical engineering or equal
*
Experience of mechanical design of surface and airborne products
*
Good communication and teamwork skills
*
Structural analysis experience and knowledge of finite element software
Desired skills:
*
Interest in taking on new software tools as finite element analysis
*
Requirement specification skills
*
Experience of environmental standards
*
Experience of environmental testing
This position requires that you pass a security vetting based on the current regulations around/of security protection. For positions requiring security clearance additional obligations on citizenship may apply.
What you will be a part of
This post will be found in the Radar Solutions business units system engineering department where the environmental engineering section is located. You will collaborate with a number of design authorities within Radar Solutions. The tasks are distributed to our environmental durability agile team and subsequently planed, performed and reported.
You will have interfaces with both system level, sub-system level and unit level internal customers.
In general, the projects are connected to a customer order but also basic research generated internally within the system engineering department will be possible.
