We are looking for a Strategy Analyst to be based in Stockholm
Bombardier?s signaling system division, Rail Control Solutions (RCS), is a world leader in developing, engineering and installing rail control and signalling safety systems, products and services. RCS ? Optimising the Flow of Trains.
Your Role
As Strategy Analyst at Bombardier Rail Control Solutions you will ensure that business decisions are made on solid intelligence. You will support strategic initiatives and lead the competitive intelligence by conducting market analysis.
Your tasks and challenges in this exiting position will be extensive, varied and will include:
Collect analysis of customers, tenders and upcoming opportunities, and ensure that these opportunities are tracked in respective region
Support the development of the company's Strategic Plan by building reports on market activity across segments and geographies, and building market forecasts
Conduct benchmarking on competitors? product portfolio and organization, and track their orders and market shares
Collect intelligence through post-bid analysis and feedback
Support the development of the company's pricing policies
Monitor, support and lead strategic initiatives
Build business cases, create high quality charts and presentation to Senior Management
You report to the Head of Strategy. You will interact with several internal functions on a global level; Engineering, Finance, Communications, Group Strategy, Division President and functional Vice Presidents. Externally you will interact with industry analysts, industry representatives and consultants.
Your Experience and Qualifications
You are educated to Master?s degree in relevant field. You have advanced analytical skills and are experienced in synthesizing and interpreting industry data. You need to have excellent communications and presentation skills. You have high attention to detail and focus on high-quality results delivered on time. You are an advanced user of MS Office (especially Excel and Powerpoint), Salesforce and preferably also Lotus Notes.
You have strong relationships skills and are experienced in interaction on senior management level and in a multicultural environment.
Fluency in English is required; fluency in Swedish or German is considered an asset
