Liko AB is part of the Baxter Group and in Alvik outside Luleå we have about 110 employees where we produce our patient lifts, slings, and associated products. We are looking for a strategic buyer. This is a great role to get a full overview of the site and many options to shape a local or global career.
As a Strategic buyer, your main mission is to ensure that we have a good, long-term and sustainable relationship with our suppliers. You are a close partner with our suppliers where you work with continuous improvements and follow-up that we have the quality we strive for. You will be an important strategic partner to Luleå Site's various functions.
Among other things, you will work with:
Supplier contracts, supplier development and cost-saving projects regarding the suppliers in your area of application.
Contribute to and implement procurement strategies that ensure that quality and continuity are maintained.
Analyze, track, and report results across your segments to define budget impact and identify efficiency opportunities.
Identify and analyze risk and development areas within the supply chain and implement appropriate measures.
Act as the main negotiator for small to medium-sized local or regional business agreements.
Participate/lead various improvement projects together with other departments such as quality, supply, and production.

Who you are
A Bachelor's Degree or equivalent in industrial economy/ engineering or experience as a strategic buyer working with commodities as metal and electronics.
You have technical knowledge for example in mechanical and understand the technology terms.
You speak and write Swedish and English fluently.
