We offer you a very interesting position in an international environment with outstanding opportunities to be a driving force for the integration of sustainability into Vattenfall's strategy and daily operations. You will be one of the key players in transforming Vattenfall into a more sustainable company. As Strategic Sustainability Advisor you will have the chance to identify and prioritize the most important sustainability issues at Vattenfall, you will propose the actions needed to fulfill our strategy and meeting stakeholder expectations.
Your main responsibilities:
• Editor and project manager for Sustainability reporting in the integrated Annual and Sustainability Report project
• Ensure overall sustainably facts and data collection according to GRI sustainability reporting guideline
• Project lead materiality analysis to ensure the right prioritization for strategic direction and data reporting
• Initiate and project lead group wide strategic projects and drive continuous improvement in sustainability, this includes input and framework setting for Vattenfall?s Group Strategic Directions, Business planning and Performance reviews
• Run the dialogue with SF and BA?s to support them in identifying key sustainability issues. Based on this propose actions for continuous improvements
• Dialogue with external sustainability stakeholders like NGO?s
• Externally and internally present Vattenfall?s sustainability work
Qualifications and personal skills
Our best candidate has a relevant University degree or equal, with a minimum of five years relevant work experience with strategic and sustainability related topics. Solid documented experience of managing complex projects is a must. Thought leadership within continuous improvements in sustainability in a large international organization.
As a person you are a strong influencer and networker that engages well with internal and external stakeholders at all levels. You communicate clearly and convincingly. You are an analytical person with superior interpersonal skills, wide sustainability interest and a strong credibility built through both business insight and leadership. You are able to provide a holistic and strategic view in everything you do and you have the ability to simplify complexity. You have a high energy level and drive in a fast-paced environment with ambitions to deliver outstanding results. You work well with complex data, insights and information and can turn it into simple solutions. Excellent skills in English and Swedish both orally and written is a must.
