ADB SAFEGATE is seeking one more Strategic Purchaser at the Supply Chain Department based in Malmö during a period of 14 month.
To be a Strategic Purchaser requires a person who has the ability of multitasking and is a problem solver. Your main tasks will be frame order handling, requests for quotations, negotiations, supplier management, participating in R&D projects, master data maintenance, within certain product categories that the department manages. You will be part of a committed team of 4 people but still you will need the ability to work independent. Our team focus on maintaining a high level of service for our customers and we are constantly measuring our performance with different KPI's.
Your duties in addition to the strategic work, will also give you the opportunity to work with:
• Cost savings and improvements
• Internal processes and structures
• Out-sourcing of production
Qualifications
We expect you to have 3-5 years of experience in a similar role and with an adequate education of some sort. You must like quick decisions in a fast-paced working environment. You are well organized and good with planning and you should have good computer skills, particularly in Excel. Having the experience of working in a ERP system is a must, from SAP or Jeeves is a great advantage. Earlier experience of purchasing electronic components is a merit.
Since most of our suppliers and most customers are outside Sweden, you must also master English well in speech and writing. International experience is an advantage.
Qualities
As a person, we would like to see that you are a good administrator, energetic, outgoing, a creative problem solver and quality conscious. You find it easy to network with people, both internally and externally contacts with customers as well as suppliers. It is important that you are driven and want to succeed in the best way with your assignments.
