A Snapshot of Your Day
Now you have the possibility to join us as a Strategic Purchaser for C-parts to our medium sized gas turbine aftermarket portfolio. An exciting and developing role with the opportunity to grow within procurement!
As a Strategic Purchaser your day will contain a variation of topics. For example, you will manage strategy development and implementation in the supplier base as well as within Siemens Energy. Due to the large number of parts and suppliers in this commodity, you will dissect, interpret and utilize large number of data to optimize the strategy and drive business growth.
Here you will be working in an international environment with daily contacts with both international suppliers and colleagues from several functions and other locations within Siemens Energy. Some travels are required for this position.

How You'll Make an Impact
* You will actively contribute to global and local targets and collaborate with the Siemens Energy worldwide procurement network.
* Continuously develop and lead/drive the supplier base to set targets and strategies for the commodity.
* Analyze and understand the supplier base risk and develop risk mitigation strategies for your commodity.
* With your updated knowledge of global market conditions, you negotiate and complete contracts with suppliers.
* Build and maintain good working relationships with suppliers and your internal key business stakeholders.
What You Bring
* Working experience within strategic procurement or other relevant functions within an international business environment.
* A master's degree in engineering or business administration or other relevant education
* Professional communication skills in Swedish and English.
* With a collaborative approach and with an ambition to deliver result you drive your commodity to result.
* Ability to think strategically and to build trust with internal and external partners, within an intercultural environment.
* You are creative in problem solving and have ability to work structured with several ongoing cases.
* Analytic driven with an interest and knowledge of analyzing data
About the Team
The team consists of seven employees and is located in Finspång. The department is responsible for strategic purchasing work, primarily for the materials delivered to Service but also to parts of the New Unit Business.
In the group, we put a lot of focus on flexibility and improvements of our supply chains - for example, through new suppliers or simplifications of our supply chains. We support and develop our purchasing processes and work very closely with our operational purchasing department within D P MGT.
Our Gas Services division offers Low-emission power generation through service and decarbonization. Zero or low emission power generation and all gas turbines under one roof, steam turbines and generators. Decarbonization opportunities through service offerings, modernization, and digitalization of the fleet.
