hela Sverige IKEA is facing a period of intense expansion with many new stores on existing and new markets. Therefore we are looking for a specialist in store planning to join our Store Design and Retail Architecture department in Helsingborg.
As a Store Planning specialist you work together with architects and other specialists as part of the IKEA store design process. Together we develop and deliver solutions for all new and major rebuilding's for all IKEA markets.
Your main task is to provide the best possible preconditions according to the IKEA store layout principles and secure all the main flows for Showroom and Market hall. The job also includes working with the Store entrance area and Children's play-areas.
Furthermore you support and contribute to our development by participation in IKEA Store Design Follow-up and evaluations for chosen stores around the world which results in that you travel up to 20% in this position. You will also participate in development projects as part of a project team and in some cases as a project leader.
• You have a background from IKEA stores as a salesperson, an interior designer or a visual merchandiser .
• You have a genuine interest in Home furnishing and the knowledge and understanding of our customer flows and shopping behaviors.
• You have extensive knowledge of IKEA store operations as well as knowledge and experience from planning and build/rebuild IKEA stores.
• You will be working in ArchiCAD, previous experience of CAD tools is a plus but not a requirement.
• Ability to work within projects, deliver quality output and keeping deadlines
• You have a good ability to transfer know-how internally and to IKEA retailers.
• You are fluent in English, both spoken and written.
