The team Suspension, Axles & Steering is now looking for a Steering System Responsible.
The team Suspension, Axles & Steering
The team is responsible for the development of the front suspension, rear suspension and steering system for the heavy duty trucks. We do this in close cooperation with our colleagues in the development centers for front and rear air suspension and advanced steering system. The development includes establishing requirements, design, planning, documentation, validation and verification. Our work is carried out in all stages of product development ie advanced engineering, product projects and maintenance of products in production.
Position Summary
In the area of Suspension, Axles & Steering we are now looking for a Steering system responsible. As a Steering system responsible you will have the functional responsibility for the complete steering system and component responsibility for the steering gear. You will develop requirements, concepts and system solutions and you will drive the work towards suppliers according to requirements. This also means that you will initiate and manage predevelopment, define strategies and evaluate competitor solutions. In order to be successful in this position we think that you have an analytic ability combined with a practical approach, enjoy challenges and solving problems. You have a solid interest in the automotive industry and would love working with heavy duty trucks. This is a great opportunity to influence our future products, so the right candidate needs to have an open mind and an innovative approach.

Requirements
• B.Sc. or M.Sc. in mechanical engineering. or similar
• Experience from product development, automotive industry
• Truck/Product knowledge
• Experience from Project management is meritorious
• Experience from working in Creo
• Experience from working with steering system is meritorious

• Be structured, well organized, recognize the value and importance of solutions with the right quality level in time
• You must be someone who is a team player and is interested in the customer needs
• Goal oriented with drive
• Fluent in English, both written and spoken
