The Corporate Standards department is a Volvo Group-common resource organized within Group Trucks Technology, with the mission to secure quality and reduce product costs through standardization. Our stakeholders are mainly product development departments within the Volvo Group and Volvo Car Corporation. We develop standards and provide training in connection with the developed standards in close cooperation with our stakeholders.
The challenge you will meet is to handle complexity - the opportunity is global networking with colleagues from all Volvo Group Business areas to reach results! You will work in close collaboration with colleagues from, e.g., Trucks, Construction Equipment, Penta and Buses, as well as Volvo Cars. Role description
Secure and maintain Volvo Group standards, design guidelines, policies and strategic design documentation with regards to language and linguistic correctness.
Establish and lead cross-functional Volvo Group networks in the area of terminology language and translation.
Represent Corporate Standards in Volvo Group forums in your area of expertise
Who you are?
We are looking for someone with a positive mindset and a "can-do attitude". You enjoy cooperating in a team and you have good communication and collaboration skills.
In order to succeed in this role we see that you have the following qualifications:
University degree in English and Swedish
Formal higher education in translation or equivalent work experience
Previous experience as a translator
Attention to detail
Good skills in the use of MS Word.
