The Standardization Engineer will be working towards the goal to increase the re-use of components and existing design for unloader, loader and terminal equipment. The result of this shall be less design hours in customer project and shorter calendar time to carry out the needed design work.
Key accountabilities for the position are:
• Investigating and preparing new component standard and to maintain existing.
• Together with responsible employees on engineering department create and maintain in-house designed standard components.
• Check and approve items and support all users.
• Maintain and purchase all standard and norms needed by the company.
• Carry out changes that are decided in "produktrådet" or "transportörsgruppen" if existing or new standard is affected.
• Take part in the Siwertell standard group, which is the tender standard for our products. Responsible for documenting and establishing and to maintain the Siwertell standard
• Take part in modularization and design standard work.
ProfilWe offer a job in which you will be working with a varied range of technical and commercial solutions for a variety of customers and cultures.
To succeed in this work, we believe that you will have a mechanical engineering qualification at university level, experience in working with standardization/modularization and with technical documentation and drawings.
As a person you have the ability to drive yourself as well as co-worker, to work together with employees from other departments and suppliers and you are open-minded and sociable. Good knowledge of English, both spoken and written, is a requirement.
