Job Summary
An exciting opportunity opens within Service Supply Network. Could you imagine yourself in a challenging position in Tetra Pak's Technical Service, as an important player for Tetra Pak's future.
Services Supply Network (SSN) is the organization within Tetra Pak Services which purchase and distribute spare parts and other physical goods to the full Tetra Pak customer base, mainly with global parcel, road and air freight carriers. A key success factor to keep our customers satisfied with the service we provide is to have an efficient, professional and customer centric function globally. To fulfill the needs today we have 9 distribution centres globally and four regional sales administration centres (SAC), where SSN focus on making sure the customers located in the markets get superior support to run their operations in the best way. To get a globally consistent way of handling the transport logistics in the network, as well as to our customer to stay world class in service, cost efficiency and emission levels.
We are now looking for a Logistics Solutions Expert who will drive the cost efficiency, emission reduction and improvement activities on a global level. The position is in the central global Logistics Solutions team, focusing mainly on global transportation.
The position is permanent and based in Lund, Sweden.
What you will do
As SSN Logistics Solutions Expert, you will focus on:
Transport performance management within SSN including performance meetings, KPI actions and Visual Management System (VMS).
Develop and improve global transport logistics solutions in SSN.
Deploy and analyse statistical data for cost, performance and emission to improve process and performance across SSN.
Participate and support the Logistics Solutions Managers in global and regional tenders (performance & cost).
Act as the entry point for escalations in the logistics solutions team.
Participate and lead smaller/medium sized projects related to SSN logistics.
We believe you have
The successful candidate has several years of logistics experience from global organizations and are used to work with cross organizational communications, improvements, and implementations. Preferably you have been in a Logistics Expert role, with minimum 5 years of work experience. Experience from parcel, road and air freight is beneficial. Other key strengths are to successfully work in a multi cultural environments in a co-operative manner as well as having good communications skills. We believe that you have a track record of finding and implementing improvement opportunities within the logistics area. Also, analytical skills are important to be able to prioritize the improvement areas etc.
Good knowledge of SAP and Power BI is considered as an advantage. Advanced skills in MS Excel and PPT is a requirement for the role.
