Apptus is looking for a skilled and experienced Test automation engineer to help us drive testing of our software products. Testing our products before delivery is a key activity for assuring quality and thus customer satisfaction. As Test Automation engineer at Apptus you will be part of our Product development team and have the chance to lead the improvements on our testing framework, test infrastructure and test strategies.We believe that you are a skilled software developer at your core and that you have a special interest in driving automated testing forward. You are not afraid of reading and writing code, especially in Java.
Key Responsibilities
• Gain a deep understanding of Apptus existing codebase and the existing test infrastructure.
• Drive continuous improvement of tests, infrastructure, testing tools and methodologies.
• Increase the level of automation and sophistication of our test suite.
• Have a system-wide perspective and work actively to ensure test/code coverage.
• Help the development team write code in a testable manner by providing guidelines and best practises and establishing necessary processes.
• Help developers locate, analyse and fix issues as best as you can.
Requirements
• Strong problem-solving skills and drive to succeed.
• At least 2 years experience in software testing and test automation.
• At least 2 years experience in high level programming languages like Java, C# etc.
• Experience with Continuous Integration tools such as Jenkins and GitLab CI.
• Experience with JavaScript, Karma and Protractor is a plus.
• Experience with Performance Test tools such as JMeter, SiteSpeed, Load Runner etc. is a plus.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
