Security & PCI DSS - ensure compliance with global security standards
• Manages the annual PCI DSS Develops and maintains policies and procedures to guide the compliance program
• Oversees the coordination of regulatory inquiries, audits (e.g., PCI, SOC)

Compliance - ensures compliance with existing guidance and interpretation
• Maintains and enhance policies and procedures to guide the compliance program including but not limited to data protection/security & privacy
• Leads discussions with senior business leaders to advise on and define standards and processes for compliant business programs including but not limited to data protection and PCI DSS compliance
• Identifies, tracks, and helps prioritize initiatives to resolve any compliance issues and further solidify our payments security infrastructure
• Creates and manages relationships with external advisors to ensure compliance with laws and regulations.
• Manages the business relationship with external auditors

Management
• Identifies, examines, evaluates, and prioritizes risk outcomes driven by non-compliant business offerings and partners with the business to remediate issues.
• Leads discussions with senior business leaders to advise on standards, processes and reporting routines on internal controls within operational routines, processes and functions
• Supports AML - SARs inquiries and investigates suspicious transactions on an ad-hoc basis

Policy and education - demonstrates leadership and expertise globally
• Serves as a subject matter expert on areas of Payment Security Compliance for the team, leaders and employees, clients, prospects and third-party service providers
• Continuously seeks opportunities to learn about emerging technologies and industry best practices to ensure we are following ever changing laws and regulations.
• Ensures the company is aware of any upcoming changes to laws and regulations so that we can make any necessary infrastructure, code or process changes to ensure ongoing compliance with changing laws.
• Create guidance documentation, such as white papers and position papers, on current and developing compliance requirements and payments security trends.
• Educate leaders on trends and best practices in compliance in many disciplines globally
• Create, implement and educate our employees, clients, prospective clients and third-party service providers on company policies and procedures

Required / Minimum:
• Master's degree in finance, legal studies, compliance, technology, business or related field
• 10+ years' experience in financial services compliance or related experience
• Deep knowledge of global laws and regulations in the compliance domain (e.g., SOX, anti-bribery, trade, anti-spam, privacy, cybersecurity, AML, KYC, PCI, SOC, ISO 27001 and controlled products)
• Compliance certification such as CIPP-US/CIPP-EU (Certified Information Privacy Professional), CCEP (Certified Compliance and Ethics Profession), CRIS (Certified in Risk and Information Systems Control)
• Excellent written/oral communication and presentation skills to communicate effectively both internally and externally
• Excellent organizational, time management, and negotiation skills
• Experience developing and implementing internal controls
• Experience as an external auditor or regulator, or similar training
• English language business fluency

Preferred:
• Law degree or familiarity with comprehension of legal and regulatory documentation
• 8+ years' compliance experience in a technology company
