Position
We are seeking an experienced Synthetic Chemist for our Ink team to push the development of our proprietary SolinkT technology towards a photovoltaic product. As an Ink Chemist your main responsibility will include:
• Design, synthesize and characterize complex organic and inorganic nanostructures
• Outline, plan and report complex projects
• Take an active role in brainstorming to foster creativity and innovation
• Conduct comprehensive literature searches and analysis
Who are we looking for?
We are looking for an experienced Chemist, Chemical Engineer or Materials Scientist who also is inspired by our mission and would fit well with our rigorous, collaborative and innovative company culture. The position requires an extensive knowledge of modern synthetic chemistry, and the ability to quickly learn aspects of the different disciplines involved in our projects ranging from nanochemistry, surface chemistry, colloidal chemistry, inorganic and organic chemistry (with focus on synthesis), to analytical chemistry. You are a high-paced, independent, hands-on experimentalist who wants to spend significant time in the laboratory.
You have a master's degree with background in synthetic chemistry (organic, inorganic or colloidal) with at least 5 years of additional experience or a Ph.D. Industry experience with nanoparticle synthesis, organic and inorganic synthesis and colloidal chemistry is highly merited. Experience with analytical techniques including NMR, SEM, EDX, FTIR, UV-VIS, ICP, XPS and TGA is also highly merited. Ink & Film Department
The Ink and Film team develops nanowire thin films, for solar cell prototypes and future applications. We work with our customers to make sure the nanowire solar cell materials we develop stay at the forefront of solar cell technology.
