hela Sverige We are currently looking for a Specialist Chemical Process Technology to Nynas' refinery in Nynäshamn.
The company

As Specialist Chemical Process Technology you will be a part of the Process Technology Department, which utilizes lab-scale distillation and hydrotreating units for process development for production of both the present naphthenic specialty products as well as possible new products. You will be part of a team consisting of 5 specialists and 3 technicians.
As a Specialist, you can be included in cross-functional project teams for product development studies or involved in investigations of process related problems at the refineries. You are responsible for monitoring the international development within science and technology related to refinery process technology and building a network of actors within the area by attending relevant international conferences.
Key responsibilities
• Perform process development studies
• Evaluate alternative feedstocks
• Build up competence within requested areas
• Document findings from studies in technical reports
• Act as an internal support function
You will report to the Process Technology Manager.
Qualifications
• PhD. within Chemical Engineering, preferably related to process technology or catalysis
• Experience from working in a R&D department at a process industry is a merit
• Fluent English spoken and written is required, Swedish is advantageous
Personality
You have a passionate technical and scientific interest, are creative, curious, and open minded. We value safety and quality mindedness as well as excellent conceptual and analytical skills. You enjoy working both independently and in teams. Furthermore, you are self-motivated and have solid interpersonal skills.
